(More customer reviews)I got the Wilton set, with muffin pan, cake pan, loaf pan.The first time I used it, the smell from the oven was overwhelmingly sickening, very chemical. I thought it was because I hadn't washed it first.After washing, it was the same.As soon as it heats up in the oven, it starts to STINK.SO I did some searching on the internet - quickly found out that you really want silicone bakeware that is 100% silicone.Cheaper brands use plastic fillers which causes the odor during baking.Turns out you can tell easily by twisting a bit of the silicone - if it turns whitish, it's got plastic fillers.Pure silicone will retain it's color.The Wilton immediately turns whitish when twisted.The smell while it's hot is just nasty.I'll be returning these today - I may exchange for a higher quality and give silicone another chance.ALSO - note that silicone is NOT non-stick - it is stick resistant but the manufacturers all still recommend greasing.Wilton says it clearly on their website.
